I handled contract review and litigation for the NFA, a government-owned corporation handling local and international procurement of rice, rice-related production requirements, machinery and equipment, including sugar, and its distribution from international ports to local ports.

I also handled litigation for Regions I, III, IV, VII, VIII and X and rendered legal opinions for Regional Directors, including drafting of pleadings for submission to the Department of Justice, Municipal and Regional Trial Courts, appeals, certiorari, comments and oppositions in the Commission on Audit, Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. I also liaised with assigned counsels of the Office of the Government Corporate Counsel.

NATIONAL FOOD AUTHORITY (NFA)

I handled contract review and litigation for the NFA for Regions VII, VIII, and X. Contract drafting and review included rice-milling, integrated cargo (wharfage, stevedoring, trucking, inter-island shipping), donations and sale of real property, procurement of fertilizers, sacks, stand-alone trucking, shipping, security services, construction, and warehousing.
Litigation covered criminal cases, collection and foreclosure proceedings, cargo handling, government audit, land disputes, land registration, contract violation disputes, lease, labor and maritime disputes.

I served as a member of the Executive Committee and the Bidding Committee for Region VII and represented the Region with the Bureau of Customs (BOC) including coordinating with the Philippine National Police, the Maritime authorities and the Coastguard on rice and sugar smuggling cases.

GEENI is a multi-media production house serving the Global Group of Companies comprised of several internationally-affiliated educational institutions with pre-school, elementary, high school, college, vocational, specialty and professional training programs. GEENI created the websites for said companies, including their multi-media presentations and advertising and promotional materials.

I managed a team of ten (10) IT specialists and spearheaded a web-based training program for public school teachers pursuant to an MOA with the Department of Education, providing the content for the project and presentation on behalf of the President of GEENI, Nelia Cruz Sarcol, founder of the CIE.
